All Streams flow into the Sea

All Streams flow into the Sea

I wrote to my Muslim friend across the border:

If I was born in your family, my name would have been Muhammad. If you were born in my family, your name would have been Ramchandra. The names differ, but the Soul remain unchanged. Whether we call Him Allah or Bhagwan or Brahman or Father, He is the Same. One and Only the Almighty. The life energy in us.

He Replied:

True to the extent of name change but as far as our Creator is concerned without any doubt He's One and He has given the same guidance to all humanity right from the beginning but we made additions to it and whenever we strayed from the path, He sent his messengers who purified His message and showed us the right path. Since He is One, we cannot expect Him to give one thing to one part of the humanity and something diametrically different to the other. This cannot be His doing. It is to be found with our own acts. We must strive to seek the truth till the moment we breathe our last.

He is speaking the same language in other words. Sanatan Hinduism believe in One God Brahman and the life we live either of happiness or pain is a result of our Own Acts. And for messenger, we believe in the verse in Ch4 of Bhagvad Geeta:
यदा यदा हि धर्मस्य ग्लानिर्भवति भारत ।
अभ्युत्थानमधर्मस्य तदात्मानं सृजाम्यहम् ॥४-७॥
परित्राणाय साधूनां विनाशाय च दुष्कृताम् ।
धर्मसंस्थापनार्थाय सम्भवामि युगे युगे ॥४-८॥

(Yada yada hi dharmasya glanirbhavati bharata, Abhythanamadharmasya tadatmanam srijamyaham.Paritranaya sadhunam vinashay cha dushkritam, Dharmasangsthapanarthay sambhabami yuge yuge)

(Meaning: Whenever virtue subsides and wickedness prevails, I manifest Myself. To establish virtue, to destroy evil, to save the good I come from age to age.)

All Streams flow into the same Sea.
