 सिंहावलोकन। 

हम मनुष्य है। मन हमारा प्रधान है जो चित्त में पड़े संस्कार और विचारों के आवन जावन के आधार पर राग द्वेष आधारित जीवन जीता है। अनुकूलन से सुखी और प्रतिकूलन से दुःखी होता है। षडरिपु (काम, क्रोध, लोभ, मोह, मद और मात्सर्य) का शिकार होता है। 

कश्मीर शैव दर्शन न तो स्वर्ग नर्क की बात करता है, न पाप-पुण्य और जन्म मरण की। वह साक्षात्कार कराता है स्वरूप से। प्रत्यभिज्ञा (पहचान) साधना का परिणाम है, जो मुक्ति है। अपने सच्चे स्वरूप को पहचान लेना ही मुक्ति है। 

क्या है सच्चा स्वरूप? नाम देने से सीमित हो जायेगा, अलग हो जायेगा इसलिए लक्षण से उसे लक्षित किया गया है। 

ऐसा कौन जीव है (मनुष्य से लेकर पशु पक्षी इत्यादि) जिसे अपने होनेपन का एहसास नहीं? सब होनेपन को अनुभूत कर रहे है। एक कायम जागरण है, जिसके पट पर सब चित्र (जाग्रत-स्वप्न-सुषुप्ति, बचपन-जवानी-बुढ़ापा, जन्म-ज़रा-व्याधि-मृत्यु, राग-द्वेष, काम-क्रोध-लोभ-मोह-मद-मत्सर, इत्यादि) चले आ-जा रहे है। पर वह निश्चलानंद हर हाल में नित्योदित वैसा का वैसा बना रहता है। न तो हानि से दुःखी होता है न लाभ से सुखी। हानि लाभ, जीवन मरण, यश अपयश उसको छू भी नहीं सकते फिर कैसे विचलित करेंगे? 

बस उस तार पर ठहर जाये जिससे कपड़ा बना है, उस चलचित्र के पर्दे में पहचान कर ले जिस पर यह सारा खेल चल रहा है, बस मानो पहचान कर ली। फिर को पता लग जायेगा कि चित्रपट भी मैं और चित्र भी। मेरे ही इच्छा, मेरा स्वातंत्र्य। मेरी सृष्टि और संहार का मालिक मैं ही। 

अब जब शुद्धात्मा के जागरण में स्थापित हो गये, फिर शरीर की पहचान कहाँ रही? क्योंकि जागरण असीमित है। अनंत ब्रह्मांड उसमें समाहित है। इसलिए व्यक्तिगत पहचान और अहंकार नहीं रहता। अगर है तो पहचान सच्ची नहीं। अगर वह नहीं है, तो सिर्फ़ हम ही हम है, दूजा कोई नहीं।

I -the eternal

 ‘I’ the eternal 

BG 2.12: There never was a time when I did not exist, nor you, nor any of these temporal kings. Nor will there be any time in future when all of us shall cease to be.

How to take this बोध? 

We believe that all of us are separate individuals and hv independent journey governed by karma. But there are no individuals. Individual or ‘I am limited’ is an illusion created by contraction of self (ज्ञान संकोच). There is only ONE SELF or the real “I” in all, the Consciousness, Awareness, and that is अखंड अद्वय अद्वैत। 

When Lord Krishna said that they all exist, he was referring to this real “I” the consciousness, which was never born, never dies. The real SELF, शंकरं.

There are no individuals. There is only the Universal अनुत्तर and its विमर्श (manifestation). All of us have the same “I”. Those born and died had the same I. Those take birth will hv the same I. The ‘I’ of awareness in eternal and is always present everywhere, all the time, not limiting itself in our physical or mental body. The heart where it resides is the common place for all. 

It is only one and one existence, the universal infinite consciousness. Our individuality is an illusion caused by our objectification and thoughts of separation because of our poor reflector (unclean mind and impure intellect). It is the ego, which has shadowed our true nature. 

Therefore, there is no need to move physically from one place to another in search of the self-true nature but to acquire the vision (ज्ञानचक्षु), from the Guru, the बोध, always present inside and outside.

स्वरूप प्रकाशन मुक्ति है। To know thyself in true nature is the real salvation.

सिंहावलोकन। Retrospect

 सिंहावलोकन। 

Sinhavalokan.

It’s a phrase meaning retrospect. Human has learn many things by observing animals, birds and nature. But why did he select Lion only and no other animal for his retrospection? 

Lion is a big cat of the cat family, has acquired the status of the King of animal world. 

Have you seen a Catwalk?  Obviously on a ramp. But why did it call catwalk? Walk which is similar to walk of a cat. …As the model takes each depth place her foot down in front of the other one rather than parallel to each..

When Lion walks, it’s a real Catwalk. It walks in rhythm, its back feet step into the track of its front feet creating an overlapping pattern of tracks. 

It has terrific night (nocturnal) vision six times more sensitive to light than humans. It has impressive eye sight can see under law light condition. It has binocular vision therefore its eyes point forward allowing it to judge depth more effectively. As its eyes can’t move from side to side very quickly it has to move its entire head from side to side to see in different direction. 

Lion walks like a King and see like a hunter with full concentration and know each and every movement of its surroundings as nothing goes out of its sight. While walking it keeps eyes over the backward, forward and side movements, and respond very sharply to any expected or unexpected event. 

It can be called a vision of 360 degrees which doesn’t allow a trace to remain to get out of it. This makes him the King of the animal world. 

If we also walk in rhythm step by step on the track of life rightly prescribed by the teachings (बोध) and keep our binocular vision of 360 degree open to see the happenings around us with full awareness, a day is not far away when we shall hunt (attain) our target (goal) of Self realisation (true nature of pure awareness). 

But we shall remember that it is a state of being a  King (Shankara), the master of the Universe in which the शंकरं doesn’t carry any trace of ego or duality what was experienced by Jiva.
