Our Life works like a car

Our Life works like a life of a car.

The car needs fuel (petrol/diesel) and a battery to spark the plug to ignite. We also need fuel (air, water and food), but the battery in inbuilt in the system from the fertilization of the follicle. It's a spark of God. Nobody knows when it gets off. Therefore, many Saints have confirmed that only God knows the death, but the time is already fixed when we born.

The battery has been placed in our heart keeping the pumping of the body well, that keeps the brain alive. Brain is the switch board of all the functions of the body organs but it's power station is placed in the heart. The specialized nerve fibers sinoatrial (not made in China!) node produces electrical pulses that regulate the rhythmic contractions of heart which is pumping life giving blood to all organs. The voltage (electrical potential) is dependent on membrane potential, therefore repolarization or depolarization of membrane changes the voltage patterns that can be measured through ECG (electrocardiogram). And our nerves are controlled by our nature and our reaction to people, events and environment around us. With a stage of anxiety, the chemical secretion in the blood directly involve the nerve functions and changes in the voltage patterns. Therefore, heart get damaged when one is hurt by people, event or environment.

Those who have strong heart (majboot kaleja) and balance nerve can fight well and last long, but those whose hearts are like Dove, may be loving but depart early. Therefore, sometime people say, good people go early and tough remain.

The invention of Yoga and Meditation by Hinduism, is one of the best therapy to regulate the nerve nodes and regulate the voltage fluctuations. Better to do meditation than to die in love of woman/man or property.

Modern life is a life of electricity. It has over charged our brains and hearts. But excessive use of electrical appliances may damage the voltage pattern and heart, therefore it's time to ring alarm bell.

And dear spouses, please don't damage the voltage system of your better half. It has potential to keep you only half!

Do meditation and live a fuller life.

14 Lokas and 7 Heavens

14 Lokas and 7 Heavens

How could they visualized?

Modern man is trying to see the world through eyes. He has invented equipments that can allow him to see farthest possible distance. And with the help of mathematics and logic he reveals the secrets of the Universe.

But ancient human mind was sharper than present mind because they could see through the third eye, i.e., gyan chakshu. The support system paralyze the strength of the modern mind. But in the higher stage of meditation, the ancient mind travelled beyond the seen to the unseen secrets of the Universes. How accurately they have revealed the secrets! Yog Vashishtha mentioned about how Vashishtha Muni travel from one universe to other leaving his physical body apart. As per Quran, the Prophet went through all 7 heavens one by one when he was ascended to the skies.

According to Hindu cosmology, there are fourteen Lokas (worlds), seven higher ones (vyahrtis) and seven lower ones (patalas). The above ones are named Bhu (earth), Bhuvas, Svar, Mahas, Janas, Tapas, and Satya. The below are: Atala, Vitala, Sutala, Rasaataala, Talatala, Mahaatala, Patala, and Naraka. Some scholars believe that Seven Heavens and Seven Earthes of Torah/Bible/Quran refer to these same 14 Lokas of Hinduism.

Quran mentions 7 heavens (samawat) created by Allah in layers; the Visible Universe (the earth, the planet's, the Stars) (our dunya) and Unseen 6 Heavens above us.

Our Galaxy Milky Way has 400 billion Stars. There are billions of Galaxies. Their orbits and paths are intersected like a woven fabric. We are unable to reveal secrets of our visible Universe, then how long we shall take to understand Multiverse?

We understand four dimensions: Width, Height, Depth, Time. Scientists and researchers are adding more dimensions. Is the Quran refers 7 heavens as 7 different dimensions? Or the Hinduism refers 14 lokas as 14 different dimensions?

Hinduism say the whole creation is a play of mind (manasi srishti - Leela) of Brahma, the creative energy of GOD. Our eyes are means to see, but the seeing is by the mind. Our earthly mind can't look beyond earthly objects, the physical world. Even on earth all creatures don't see, visualize or think the same. With the refinement of mind, with different frequencies (like wireless sets), the subtle body, can visualize the other Universes. They were able to connect their mind frequencies with the frequencies of other universes, travel to other lokas and explained to us when returned to the physical body. With the change of frequency, one can enter into Dev Loka, Yaksha loka, Gandharva Loka, Pitru Loka,  etc.

Brahman is an infinite field of probabilities and possibilities. Whatever one imagine, it is possible. Our mind is our Brahma, has capacity to create our new world.

Life in the balance of Potassium and Sodium

Life in the balance of Potassium and Sodium.

Potassium and Sodium are essential nutrients of our life. The balance between them regulate the electrolytes and in turn keep the vital organs in order and keep our light on.

Potassium improves the functions of brain and memory. In memory loss or Alzheimer, potassium intake is advised. But excessive potassium damages the heart function. The sudden loss of pulse and heart beats essentially linked with very high potassium in the blood.

Sodium is another essential element of our life. It has direct relation with blood pressure. Sodium reduction can increase in plasma cholesterol and plasma triglyceride. It balances the potassium, therefore saves the heart.

It is said that dying person remembers entire life events before departure. Is that a play of increased potassium? Increasing brain function reminds him/her deed and simultaneously decreasing heart rate takes away his/her life.

Humans are smarter. If they eat more salt they can balance by eating potassium. Sometimes, they add salt in potassium rich food to maintain balance. Potatoes, bananas, water malon, tomatoes, apples, avocados, leafy greens, nuts, apricots, salmon, and mushrooms are high in potassium, and it's easier for people to add things to their diet than to take away something like salt.

To protect your Heart and Brain, your Sodium to Potassium Ratio is more important than your overall salt and potassium intake.

Balance karatu.

We are undivided family

We are undivided family

Do you have feelings of separation? Separation from the body? Separation from others? Religions, Nations, Colours of skin, Politics, Castes, etc have divided the humans.

We are tethered to all with the tie of the mind or the knots of heart. Sometimes we feel joined and in the stage of depression feel apart. But these are psychological knots.

Are we separate? Separate from our body? Our family? Our Nation? Our world? Our Universe? From the objects of the Universe, i.e. the Sun, the Moon, the Stars, etc?

No. Not at all.

All creatures and objects have influence on us. Space is not disconnecting element, therefore influence of stars on us is not merely in a mechanical manner as the law of gravitation does but a very very living and organic manner.

The way, all creatures in the Sea are united through Ocean of water, all of us living on earth are united through the Ocean of Air; similarly all are united in the Ocean of Brahman, the Absolute, the Being.

The ties of the mind or the knots of the heart, the psychological knots by which we are tethered to earthly experience, break immediately, when we enter into the ocean of Being, the Ocean of nectar, the Ocean of eternity.

How to enter into the Ocean of Brahma? Intact we are in it. The question is to realise it. How? There are means.

One must see purity, hear purity, touch purity, think purity, and sense purity. Practice self control through fasting. Live in Brahamcharya, to live as Brahman. Practice Maunam, not speaking, silence of all the senses, on account of the contact of the Atman which is the Supreme Silence. Meditate, to withdraw senses and mind and centre consciousness, the Brahman.

One can walk a little, but the master key Guru necessary to instruct because those try through mind and senses are unfit to contact or enter into the Ocean of Brahman!

We are One in the Ocean of Brahman.

We are one and undivided family.

Dooj Ka Chand

Dooj Ka Chand

72 Jinalay, a Jain temple at Talvana, near Mandvi (Kutch), Gujarat is a famous Jain pilgrimage with Tirthankar Shri Adinath Bhagwan as main Deity and 72 Deris of Tirthankars.

When we have Darshana of Lord Adinath, a young Jain girl was making an image with rice. Bottom as Swastika, middle three cubes and top as duj moon and bindi. What do you do? What is the meaning of this image? My wife asked her. I don't know. I am doing because others are doing. She replied. One gentle man tried to explain but my wife couldn't catch the meaning. I was watching from little distance. Then I asked the question to one Mahasati Sadhviji doing prayer in the temple.

The Swastika is a symbol of four Yonis: Deva, Manushya (Human), Tiryanch (birds, animals) and Narki (living in hell). The middle image of three cubes are gyan (knowledge), darshan (understandings) and charitrya (character). And the top duj moon and bindi is "Shiddh Shila" the final destination of all Jeevas. A Jeeva is moving in four Yonis as per it's Karma. During the life as Human, it can live a life with gyan, darshan and charitrya to merge with the "Shiddh Sheela" the Nirvana of complete peace. The rice is a symbol of Akshat, the eternity. While making the image, one pray God to bless the path to reach Shiddh Sheela. She explained.

I was surprised with the image of duj moon with bindi in Jainism, the same in Hinduism and same in Islam, as the symbol of the Almighty, the final junction of all creatures.

In Hinduism, it is R kar and Bindi of Aum. The sound is Ram, the bij mantra and the mantra to chant Rama, Rama, Rama. (Not only the Sun of Raja Dasharath!)

In Islam, it symbolizes on all structures and flags of Islam followers. They celebrate Ramadan Eid after looking at dooj ka chand (Z Hijjah Moon). And at the moment, Venus remains above the Moon in the sky, making beautiful picture of ँ dooj ka chand and bindi. They follow Hijari lunar calendar based on lunar visibility.

The union of Moon (mind) and Venus (beauty) is called Romance in Jyotish. Therefore, the most beautiful girl may be called "Chaudavi ka Chand" (can have further beauty) but She is "Dooj ka Chand" for many.

Human life is also an opportunity to know the "Self", "the Being", and it is limited like "dooj ka chand". Otherwise at the end we may have regrets, looking at the balance sheet.

Awake till the light of life is illuminating.

Atman, a beautiful tale from Upnishad

Atman, a beautiful tale from Upnishad

One day, Prajapati (Brahma) announced that this Atman is free from every kind of evil, unaffected by old age or decay of any kind or death. It has no hunger, no thirst. It's wishes are immediately materialized.

After hearing the proclamation of Brahma the Gods (Devtas) and Demons (Asuras) held conferences separately, discussed about the capacity of Atman to fulfill every wish or desire, and decided to send their Chief, Indra and Virochana for training under Brahma to know this Atman, respectively.

Indra and Virochana, the deadly enemies, didn't speak to the other about the purpose, and both went to Brahma and stayed for 32 years without saying anything, observing austerity, controlling their senses and living a very disciplined life. Then after 32 years Brahma asked them the purpose of their visit. Both replied about his great proclamation of knower of the Atman fulfill all desires, and explained the purpose of coming in search of the knowledge of the Atman.

"The Being which you see in your eye is the Atman" said Brahma. The Being that you see in your eyes, that is the Atman. This is the immortal, this is the abode of fearlessness, this is the Absolute.

Oh, I see, this is the Atman. What is reflected in the eye, concluded both. Then what is reflected in water, mirror is that Atman also? They asked. "It is seen in every kind of reflection" Brahma replied. Then Brahma told them to go and look at themselves in a pan of water and see what is there? They went and saw themselves, from hair to nails, everything they are, reflected in that water. We see ourselves as we are, they answered. "This is the Atman". Brahma said. What you see in your eyes is the Atman, what you see in the reflection is the Atman.

Both were very happy, went back thinking they have known the Atman.

Virochana, the chief of Demons went to Demons and explained I know the Atman, by which I can control all the world and fulfill all your desires. This body itself, what we are here is Atman. It become asuras doctrine of crass materialist and sensualist. They concluded body as Atman and to use it to fulfill desires. They started decorating the body beautifully, cover it with silk, gold, etc, even care for the corpse after the death. This become the fate of Virochana and his followers.

Indra, half way to heaven had doubts, how could this body be the Atman? What is reflected in water or anywhere is the body, and if it is Atman then it would be affected by every kind of defect in which the body is subject. So there would be defective Atman. This can't be called immortal. It goes with the death of body. Where then comes fearlessness and immortality and brahmatva mentioned by the creator? He didn't go to gods (devas) and returned immediately to Brahma.

Indra asked, how can we regard this body as the Atman, when it is subject to these defects? If the body is blind, the Atman will become blind. If body is diseased the Atman would have disease. If the body dies, Atman will die. Reflection can't be the Atman.

Brahma told him to live the life of austerity (severe discipline, self control, and aspiration) for another 32 years, afterwards, he will speak.

After 32 years, Brahma have fresh instructions. "That which you see in the state of dream is the Atman. The Being which rejoices and is happy in the state of dream is the Atman, which is fearless and which is immortal".

Yes this must be so. Indra accepted and went back. Before he reached his palace, he again had a doubt. How could this be? That which is in dream is the Atman? The dreaming individual is not affected by the defects of the physical body but some other defect will be as one is not perfect in dream. One cries, weeps, and sobs when one has painful experiences in dream. This dreaming Atman is no good. He went back to Prajapati and raised his doubt, the dreaming individual is no good at all, it can be affected.

Indra stayed for another 32 years of self control. After 32 years Prajapati instructed Indra again. "Now, I will tell u about Atman that is not affected by the physical body not conditioned by the sorrow of dream and which is blessed in its own state, what is that? He who is in deep sleep state, that is the Atman. This is immortal, fearless, Atman".

Indra got satisfied and returned. But on the way he again had doubts. Atman in sleep, it is zero. It is in darkness, neither know self nor others. This kind of Atman is no good. He again went back to Prajapati, raised doubts, stayed for another 5 years of self control (total 101 years of Tapas).

Then Brahma said, "O Indra, this body is perishable and it is enveloped and overwhelmed by death from every side. How could this be Atman?" Neither the body nor the mind is Atman. Anything finite can't be Atman. Neither the walking individual nor the dreaming individual, nor the experiencer of deep sleep can be Atman. Atman is manifesting through body but it is not identical. The body the vehicle, the mind are conditioned by the vicissitudes of pleasure and pain. There is under current of future sorrow even at the time of present happiness. Bodiless existence is free from the vicissitudes of pleasure and pain. The Atman is Bodiless. Atman can't be thought of by the mind. One has to rise above the physical (walking), subtle (dreaming) and causal (sleeping) conditions, the limitations of the Atman, then one become the true Being. True being is not unconsciousness. It is self luminous light of all lights. Brahma further explained, the Purush, seeing through eyes, smelling through nose, speaking through mouth, hearing through ears is Atman. The experiencer is Atman. Whatever thinks through mind (celestial eye- Divya chakshu) (the Brahma-loka) (the state of mind to the high frequency level of consciousness) also is Atman.

Indra return peacefully and conveyed the knowledge of Atman to the gods(devtas). Whether Indra and Devtas followed the knowledge in the same meaning or not but  if Indra need 101 years to understand, what to speak of ordinary people like us? We are followers of Virochana, the chief of demons, busy in decorations of our body with designer cloths and ornaments and acting for fulfillment of its desires.

After reading the tale, what do you do? Follow Virochana? Or follow Indra? Or follow Brahma?

Atman Bhavatu.

Unification of India by British

Unification of India by British

We have always blamed British for their divide and rule policy and reason for division of India at the time of independence.

But when was India united? It was a country of Kings and Sultans. Much before the arrival of British the people were divided through religion. One of the major reasons of Maratha defeat in the 3rd war of Panipat on 17/1/1761 against Ahmed Shah Abdali was the support to Abdali by Rohilla of Doab and Nawab of Awadh Sultan Shuja-Ud-Daulah. Afghan-Rohilla-Nawab, perceived as "army of Islam".

Hindus conquered up to Hindu Kush BC,  but the Northwest border always remained a challenge for India. Whether Kal Yavan during Lord Krishna's time, or Alexander and Greeks, or nomadic warriors (Puranas called them malechchh rule) attacks during dark period of history of 500 years (between fall of Mauryas and rise of Guptas) from central Asia,  the Shakas, the Huns, the Kushanas, the Turks, the Mughals, the Afghans; Indian Northwest border was under attacks of invaders. Many tribes came and merged with locals but Muslim invaders came, established their rule and increased their strength through conversion of religion from backward Hindus.

Invaders used to come from Northwest and the local Kings used to countered them with only one fighting community 'kshatriya', and lost many times. But when the foreign rulers established their kingdoms and allowed other communities to join their army, their strength of waging wars increased. The rise of Shivaji and Marathas was possible by allowing other communities to wage wars.

When invaders conquering India from Northwest border and wars were mostly fought on physical strengths, British though entered from West (Surat, Gujarat), studied the strengths and weaknesses, moved to East, established their rule over Bengal and slowly and steadily conquered India with better strategies, diplomacy, strength, discipline, law, judiciary and English language.

With the establishment of British rule, the invaders stopped attacking from the Northwest border. British with the use of Railway, Post and Telegraph, bureaucratic administration, laws, etc, ruled the Country for 190 years with less number of British soldiers and officers.

Equity was the greatest gift of British to India. Their respect to Law allowed Gandhi to fight freedom struggle. Their love to equity, may be for political reasons to counter Congress, allowed Dr. Ambedkar to raise voice of backwards in the Round Table Conferences in London.

The nation divided into varnas and castes of unequal first converted and later united with the help of Constitution of India, written mostly on the pattern of British system of Ruling the Nation.

Northwest is a problem border after independence. We had wars with Pakistan and mistrust is not going away. Terrorism is our trouble but still Pakistan became buffer for us from the attacks of Afghan and Turks.

British United India territory and gave us a country of present size India under one rule with a governing principles of Equity, Rule of Law and Natural Justice! But are the rulers and people follow the principle of Equity in administration and customs? Lot of introspection still needed after 67 years of Independence.

Fall of Shikh Empire and Rise of Maharaja Gulab Singh

Fall of Shikh Empire and Rise of Maharaja Gulab Singh

Maharaja Ranjit Singh, the one eyed (Sun Eye) King, the founder of Shikh Empire, was one of the most powerful Kings of Punjab. His empire was in region of Punjab bordering China and Afghanistan. Koh-i-noor (Mountain of Light) Diamond was surrendered to him by the Sujah Shah Durani of Afghanistan, the diamond mined from Kollur (AP) travelled through many dynasties and went abroad.

Gulab Singh Dogra was the ambitious General of Punjab Army. Due to his bravery in wars and services to the Maharaja of Punjab, he was confirmed Raja Jammu under the empire of Punjab in 1822 by Maharaja Ranjit Singh.  Normally, the Rajtilak is done from bottom to up of the forehead but his Rajtilak was done from top to down. Jit Singh, the legal heir of Raja Kishor Singh renounced the proprietorship of Jammu in flavour of Dogra Brothers (Gulab Singh, Dhian Singh, Suchet Singh) as token of affection and love!

After the death of Maharaja Ranjit Singh in on 27/6/1839, Lahore became centre of conspiracies and interest in which three Dogra Brothers of Jammu (Gulab Singh, Dhyan Singh, Suchet Singh) were involved. 2 days, November 5-6 of 1840 were dark days, changed the history of Punjab.

After the death of Maharaja Ranjit Singh, his eldest son Kharak Singh succeeded the throne. But he was imprisoned (1/9/1840) and put to death by slow poisoning (5/11/1840). They succeeded in getting administration under Nau Nihal Singh (son of Kharak Singh) with Dhyan Singh as wazir. When Gulab Singh's son Udham Singh died (1840) on the spot due to masonry fall, when they were returning with Maharaja Nahu Nihal Singh, from the funeral of Maharaja Kharak Singh, the unconscious Maharaja Nahu Nihal Singh (19Y) was likely to be killed looking at the additional injuries of smashing of his head on 6/11/1840. His mother Chand Kaur tried to claim the legacy of Maharaja but the birth of stillborn child by Sahib Kaur, the wife of Nahu Nihal killed her hope and she was also killed (1842) by smashing of head in the palace through the conspiracy of the Wazir.

Thereafter Sher Singh (1841-43), the son of another wife of Maharaja Ranjit Singh won the throne but he was killed by his cousin Ajit Singh. Wazir Dhyan Singh was also killed by this group. Thereafter Duleep Singh (1843-49) (through his mother Jind Kaur), the son of Maharaja Ranjit Singh succeeded the throne but powerful empire of Maharaja Ranjit Singh was so weak that British won it in the first Shikh-Anglo war in February 1846. British took the Kohinoor Diamond and presented to Queen Victoria of England.

At the fall of Lahore Court, ambitious Gulab Singh concentrated on expansion of his empire to the North. His General and Wazir Zorawar Singh Dogra conquered upper Himalayas, Baltistana and Ladakh. He was called Napoleon of India. Due to cold weather and short supply to the distance place, he lost his life in the battle of To-yo in 1841 against Tibetian and their Chinese allies. The Treaty of Churshul signed amongst the officers of Lama Guru Sahib of Tibet, Empire of China and Wazir of Gulab Singh to observe and keep the friendship amongst them till eternity.

Meantime, Raja Gulab Singh's brother Dhyan Singh Dogra (Wazir of Lahore Court), youngest brother Suchet Singh and nephew Hira Singh were murdered in 1842. The collapsed Khalsa empire was unable to pay the arrears to the soldiers, they looked at rich Raja of Jammu Gulab Singh for extracting money and the Raja accepted indemnity of 27 lakh rupees in 1845.

When Shikhs lost the war with British in February 1846, Raja Gulab Singh was the negotiator of the terms and conditions of peace agreement with British on behalf of Lahore Darbar as the Maharaja Duleep Singh was only 7 years old. British imposed fine of 15 million rupees over the Maharaja of Punjab as war expenses. As the Maharaja family was unable to pay the amount, Gulab Singh took two advantages; independence from Lahore Darbar, and purchase permission of Nation of Kashmir (the second largest Princely State) under the treaty of Lahore (9/3/1846).

Finally, British sold Nation of Kashmir for 7.5 million nanashahis  signing Kashmir to Maharaja Gulab Singh under the Treaty of Amritsar, on 16/3/1846.

Kashmir of Maharaja Ranjit Singh was owned by Maharaja Gulab Singh and acceded to Dominion of India through a legal document of Instrument of Accession signed by Maharaja Hari Singh on 26/10/1947 in Hari Niwas, Jammu. The accession was accepted by the Governor General of India, Lord Mountbatten on 27/10/1947.

It was a rise and fall of Shikh Empire through Dogras of Jammu and Kashmir!!!

Unification of India by Goswami Tulsidas

Unification of India by Goswami Tulsidas

When India was under the greater influence of 'shunyavad' of Buddhism, Shaivism counter it through Gyan Yoga. But it was difficult for common people to meditate and put the mind on thinking process, Bhakti Yoga, worshipping through poojan and kirtan became popular. As a result Hinduism was divided into two major branches, Shaivism and Vashnavism.

The Shaiv Sanyasis wore saffron cloths and don't keep shikha and sutra (Janoi/Yagyo Pavit). They were Gyan Margi. Adi Guru Shakaracharya was Shaiv Sadhu proclaimed the principle of Adwaita. However, later he moved to Bhakti marg, wrote beautiful Bhajan, Bhaj Govindam.

The Vaishnav Sadhus wore white clothes and keep shikha and put on sutra (Janoi). They were Bhakti margi worshipping Lord Vishnu and his Avataras. Against one Shiva, they brought out Vishnu with his 10 Avataras. Initially, one idol of Vishnu or his Avatars were worshipped but later couple Pooja was introduced with Radha-Krishna temples. Bhakta was worshipped with Bhagwan.

When India was passing through a bad time of foreigners rule and pressure of changing religion, the four schools of thought of Vaishnavas vedantica philosophy was saving Hinduism.

Nimbarkacharya (3096 BCE or 13th Century) proclaimed principle of "Dwairadwait"  (bhedabhed). (duality and nonduality at the same time).

Ramanujacharya (1017-1137 CE)(south) proclaimed principle of "Vishishtadwaita" (advaita with uniqueness). God, Soul and Universe together form an inseparable unity which is one and has no second. Swami Ramanand (1738-1802) adopted vishishtadwaita, proclaimed by Ramanunacharya. Ramanand Swami passed reins of Uddhav sect to Sahajanand Swami, that is now developed as present day Swaminarayan sect, mostly followed by Gujaratis. Swami (Bhakt) and Narayan (Bhagwan) are worshiped together.

Madhwacharya (1238-1319) proponent of the Dvaita principle of Bhakti that is now followed by Iscon group. The universe consists of jīva (chetan) and matter (jad). The only way for the jīva to escape the world is divine grace, which can only be gained through selfless devotional service to God, or bhakti.

Vallabhacharya (1479-1531 CE), founder of Pushti Sect, proclaimed the principle of Shuddhadweta (pure adwait).

But the difference of method of  worshipping was converted into fight between Shaivs and Vaishnavas and dividing Hindus.

Goswami Tulsidas (1497/1532-1623) united Shaivism and Vaishnavism together through Ramcharit Manas. Ramayana was very popular amongst people of India. Tulsidasji while rewriting Valmiki Ramayan in Awadhi made some changes. Hanuman, was declared Rudravtar of Lord Shiva as he was devotee to Lord Rama the 7th incarnation of Lord Vishnu. And Lord Rama established Shivlinga at Rameshwar and prayed to Lord Shiva to absolve sin of killing a Brahman, the demon King Ravana in Sri Lanka. He united the two Gods Ramcharitmanas and made it so popular that both the branches united together.

Thereafter, makers of temples, established Shivlinga in LaxmiNarayan temples. The two branches of Hinduism united through temples. People started worshipping both, Lord Shiva and Lord Vishnu together. People find it easy to love and pray God through heart then analysing him through brain.

Adwaita, the ultimate announcement of aham brahmasmi can be a destination of a Hindu, but Dwaita, the devotion to the God as Bhakta make them more happy and comfortable doing bhakti and living in Sansara.

Tulsidasji did a great service to the Nation and making India by uniting Shaivism and Vaishnavism.

Suicide an outcome of Situational Pressures and Depression of Mind

Suicide an outcome of Situational Pressures and Depression of Mind.

Probe will tell us the reason of the death of our brave colleague DK Ravi, whether it was suicide or a murder, but it has shaken up all of us in the service. We pray God to rest the Soul in peace.

With the growth of economy and money tree with the Government, the expectations from the people, politicians and family are increasing day by day. An officer has to balance these pressure groups, to perform and to maintain fitness of mind and body. The disturbed balance, compel us for opting for medicine, alcohol, yoga-meditation or in rare cases to commit suicide.

Suicide is considered an act of a coward. How could a person taking up wrong doors with toughness can kill himself? However, to kill oneself need lot of courage and mostly an act executed out of negative thinking, depression or pressure of a situation.

A son commits suicide if there is continuous pressure and expectations for better academic results or career progress from the father or mother and he/she is not able to perform. A girl or boy commits suicide if not been able to marry the likes one. A husband of quarreling wife can commit suicide with an intention of punishing the wife. A wife can commit suicide if not pulling on well with the pressure of in-laws or husband. Sometimes infertility and love for husband together motivate her for the act to open a way for a new comer. Case to case, the reasons may vary but it is surely an outcome of the situational pressure over the mind weather real or imagined. A tired mind kills oneself.

And why depression? It is absence of joy. Expectations reduce joy, whether our own expectations or expectations from the pressure groups on our life.

We are the rider of our mind. Mind gives us options and arguments in favour of each option. But when mind rides over us, our decisions may go wrong.

Life is light and death is darkness. Life is a war of survival. Each life fights with external attacks of diseases in body or pressure over mind. The smart sailor live long and the aggressive fighter get destroyed, therefore our life line varies for each individual. But during the journey, if one kills oneself, it is a height of self centered negative thinking process. The family, friends, society are there for releasing such pressures. The weekends, casual and earn leaves are means to relax and come out of pressing thoughts of negativity.

We are Guru, not Laghu (small) the part of the Universal Soul, the God, the Brahman. If the situation or thinking process compelling you to opt for such act, leave the place, people and situations immediately. There are multiple choices available to live the life with bliss, peace and joy. Not to commit suicide, but to live long in this land of divinity. If unsatisfied, look at others who have less than you.

"I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn't arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I'm going to be happy in it." Groucho Marx

When shall we start Chakra treatment?

When shall we start Chakra treatment?

Kundalini (the power house) and 7 chakras (muladhar, swadhistan, manipur, anahat, vishuddha, agya, sahstrar) of human chetan body is one of the greatest invention of Hinduism.

When others were not able to speak, explain or write clearly, the researchers of the Chakras found the letters and language from the leaves of each Chakra.

Allopathy is a great invention of mankind that has increased the life line of humans in present time but day by day the research progresses, researchers have started saying that 96% diseases are generated from the mind. The psychology of an individual affects his physical body, making it ill. The auto immune system, the internal glands, etc, are govern by the mind. And mind is govern by the balance flow of energy in the Chakras. Many of you have noticed that physically we are same but mentally different. The difference is in the flow of energy in the Chakras.

Before allopathy entered into India people were treating physical body with Ayurveda and if it is not cured with ayurvedic medicines for long, they used to try other methods. Setting Neval Chakra (Manipur), called setting 'pinchoti' by massage to treat stomach problems was most common in India. Many go to Babaji for treating the subtle body through 'Shaktipat'. The tantra sadhana has some link with it.

If one analyses the Satsang in Hinduism, it is more like a psychosomatic treatment. One get peace and joy listening Satsang and doing kirtans. And the Baba, who has developed his strength to repair the energy flow of other persons with his Kundalini power by Shaktipat, can cure the disease by balancing the kundalini flow in the Chakras of his followers. I don't know whether followers of the blogs get such benefits!

And these Babas are like magnets. Otherwise how come thousands of people are rushing to their doors, waiting for hours. The deficiency of their chetan bodies want to fill up the gap. The thirsty are searching the kiosk.

There were thousands of examples of disciples receiving Shakripat of their Guru. Recently Bhagyesh Jha explained how a finger touch of Santram Bapu of Nadiad to his brahmarandhra gave birth to his ability to deliver lectures in Sanskrit. PD Vaghela has also told me spiritual benefit to his wife from Santram Bapu.

Kundalini is a infinite power house placed in our body. If a person is able to open its door and lift the energy up from Muladhar to Sahshtrar he realizes the Self. The energy flowing upward from one chakra to another increases individual mental and physical abilities. If not done scientifically under the guidance of a Guru, it may be dangerous and harmful.

It is high time for India to start Kundalini University and to teach and learn the techniques to balance the flow of energy in chakras of human body. This will be the greatest service to the mankind of the world.

Kundalini Jagaran is not fake, because I have experienced it.

Shubham bhavatu kalyanam.

Human evolution is not from Monkeys

Human evolution is not from Monkeys

Brahma is creator of the Universe. He created four Rishis: Sanaka, Sanatan, Sanandan, Santkumar (calledSanakadi), from mind. They are called the Manas Putra of Lord Brahma. When they disobeyed the Command of their father Brahma, to enter into Sansara, they were cursed. They undertook lifelong vows of celibacy (brahamcharya) against the wishes of their father. Sanakadi Rishis are the founder of Sanatan (Hindu) Dharma.

When Sanakadi Rishis denied command to enter into Sansara, then Brahma created Manu and Manu in turn created Jeevas on earth. Therefore, we are called Manushya, the children of Manu. Manu, Manas, means created from mind; not real, like Rabbit's horn or Son of barren woman.

Matsya (fish) (first avatara of Lord Vishnu) rescues the Saptarishi and Manu from the great Deluge, the water pralay.

Hinduism believes that the humans are not the biological evolution from homosepian monkeys but children of Manu. As other creatures lake thinking capacity and wisdom, human life is considered sacred and the best for Self Realisation.

Yoga, the light of life

Yoga, the light of life.

Election Observer duty gives an opportunity to understand India and it's culture and to meet people of the area. During my duty in Bihar in 2005, I was fortunate to meet Sanyasi Swami Satyanand Saraswatiji Maharaj (25 December 1923 – 5 December 2009) of Mungher and Rikhia Ashram (Deoghar).

Swamiji was in Maun Sadhana for a fortnight and his disciples were not sure how long it will last further, we took a chance and requested for his darshana from a distance. But the luck plays its own role. When Swamiji saw us, he broke his silence and started narrating his past association with Shivananda Mission Hospital, Rajkot, Gujarat when he was in his 20s. The hospital was started by his Guru Swami Shivanand Saraswati. After talk in Gujarat and Gandhi he explained about spirituality. The 'panchagni sadhana' he did sitting nude and surrounded by 5 fires.

When I posed a question on purpose of life, he emphasized on acts of three body organs, brain, heart and hands. Brain to understand the creation through 'gyan yoga'; heart to worship God with love through 'bhakti yoga' and hands to serve people or do work through 'karma yoga'. And all three to be done with utmost sincerity, devotion and honesty; Swamiji replied. He advised us to walk to extend life line. The four wheel ride reduces life line and two legs walking extends it.

Swamiji had one dog, German Shepherd, I hope remembered. We were surprised with the dog, chatting with Swamiji like a true companion. It was replying with gesture and sound as well as express it's will to Swamiji. Swamiji told us that the dog is also his true disciple.

He has written many books on Yoga based on Patanjali Yogsutra (asana, pranayam, mudra, bandh). To fulfil mandate of his Guru, he started yoga centres. His creation Bihar Yoga Bharati is the first university of its kind to impart a comprehensive Yogic education with provision for MA, M.Sc., Mphil, Phd, DSc, Dlitt. The Undergraduate department offers a four month certificate course and a one year Diploma course in Yogic Studies. The Ashram had many white skin students from foreign nations. All chant verse of Gita before taking meal. The ashram schedule follow time table full of activities from early morning to night. The teachings aim to show right path through spiritual knowledge. Shivanand Math founded for free medical services to the people. The offerings the ashram receives from devotees are donated to the needy and poor.

In recent time Baba Ramdev, Sri Sri Ravishankar and others propagated value of Yoga to the international world. But the technique of force, speed and strength to tire the body so that it connects mind to inner soul easily in meditation sometimes may not suit all. The forceful breathing against the principle of Patanjali Yog Sutra may damage heart pump, the vital organ of life. It is a pump made of muscles. Over exercise may lead to loss of life. Bihar Yoga Bharati teaches Yoga (astang yog) exactly from Paranjali Yog Sutra. Swami Niranjananandji, his heir at Mungher ashram explained.

Swami Satyanand Saraswatiji Maharaj left this world in 2009 but his institutions and books are guiding people for the elevation of human consciousness by disseminating the light of yoga. If  travelling to Bihar and Jharkhand, do visit the ashrams.

These ashrams are unique, prefer bureaucrats to politicians!

Lord Ganesha

श्री गणेश Lord Ganesha

Some intellectuals might have laughed at us when PM Shri Narendra Modi described first plastic surgery of the mankind, Lord Ganesha, joining lower body of a man with a head of elephant by the first plastic surgeon Lord Shiva! But Lord Ganesha is one of the most important Deities in India. All prayers, important undertakings, religious ceremonies, dance, music, art start with a prayer of Ganesha in Hinduism. He is the Lord of Wisdom, knowledge and new beginnings.

Hinduism has preached knowledge through symbolic stories. The story of Ganesha has been explained differently.

The direct story you all know about creation of Ganesha by Mother Parvati to guard her door when she was taking bath, arrival of Lord Shiva, Ganesha stopped him at door, angry Shiva beheaded him with Trishula. Later when came to know that he had killed his son, replaced original head with that of an elephant. And this way Lord Ganesha was reborn.

The head is our Ego, need to be beheaded. Ego can be removed by Trishul (three treatments), balancing Satva, Rajas and Tamas in the body so that one balance in behaviour. His eyes of an elephant is a symbol of looking at the smallest things. His large ears is a symbol of meaningful listening. His long trunk is symbolic of smelling unforseen events from distance. His big belly (lambodar) is a symbol of generosity to accept all. And his intellect cleverness is a symbol of right advice and decisions. His vehicle mouse is a symbol of keeping impediment at his feet.

Gananadhi ish, iti Ganesha, the Lord of Ganas (group). Ganesha is also called Vinayaka. A leader of a Family, Group, Village, Block, District, State, Country or World is a right leader if he possesses all these characteristics of Lord Ganesha; he can grants success, prosperity and protection against adversity to his unit/group/area. Thereafter only, he and the area under him will possess Buddhi (intellect) Riddhi (prosperity) and Siddhi (achievements-power), symbolically called wives of Ganesha. And the fruits; ksema (prosperity)/ Labha (profit) and Subha (auspicious), the sons of Shri Ganesha.

In Kaliyuga, some leaders possess adverse characteristics called nuisance and therefore people pay them for removing obstacles or preventing them to become obstacles. It is better to pray them first to avoid obstacles.

Hope all leaders (small of big) in the world will follow Lord Ganesha in positive spirit to make the life of people, free from obstacles.

Guru (the master)

Guru (the master)

गुरु गोविन्द दोऊ खड़े काको लागूं पायं।
बलिहारी गुरु आपने जिन गोविन्द दियो बताय।।

Guru (master), the most important guide in spirituality. All Saints have confirmed the need of Guru for liberation of the Jeeva. Therefore, there are many Gurus (masters) and many Chelas (disciples) in India. Generally, people follow their family and friends in selection of a Guru. But for Sadhak and Jigyasu (curious), each moment is important. Therefore, if the selection goes wrong, the precious time of the life may get lost. Therefore, all sadhaks and jigyasus are always in search of "Right Guru". And similarly the real Guru is in search of "Right Chela".

How to judge a Right Guru? I posed the question to the Saint at Saint Mehi Ashram, Bhagalpur in 2005. He replied very nicely.

"If you are walking under a hot Sun in summer days for a long and suddenly find a Banyan tree on the way. You will get relief, peace and happiness as soon as you reach under the tree. You don't need any description for that. Similarly, the Sadhak get peace, relief and shelter as soon as he reaches to a Right Guru."

Feeling of Inner Peace is the key to judge the Right Guru. Then his devotion to the Guru bring knowledge for him. However, in Sadhana, not the Guru but to become a right Chela is more important.

श्रद्धावान् लभते ज्ञानम्, शंशयात्मा विनश्यति।

Better to be on runway before takeoff

Better to be on runway before takeoff

I was fortunate to have Satsang with Swami Hansanand Saraswatiji Maharaj popularly known as Dandi Swami. My wife and I camped for two weeks at Rishikesh on the bank of Holy River Ganga in 2002. Every evening we were benefited by the Satsang of Shri Dandi Swami.

A disciple of Swami Karpatriji Maharaj of Kashi, Dandi Swamiji is a follower of Vedant philosophy. He mostly live nude and hardly bother about the people coming and going. Living in a small room at Rishikesh, he sometimes go to nearby ashram and deliver messages. He has never tried to build ashram or to create empire of disciples. He lives in his 'Fakiri Masti'.

He can easily convince you that you are not the body but "Pure Self". The identity as male-female, young-old, this-that caste, this-that religion, rich-poor, placed high or low, etc, are the dharma of body not of the pure self. He explained, it is up to you from where to start and according to do sadhana and reach to the final destination of "Nirmal Chit".

If you believe in body dharma, then start with Karma Yoga and move to the stage of Niskam Karma. Your Chit is like a mirror. There is lot of dust on it due to your present and past sanskaras. You have to remove this dust by purity of acts. Once dust is removed, you have to make the mirror stable so that you can visualize the picture properly, for that you have to surrender to God. Your mirror get stability only with one direction of life towards God. And once the mirror is dust free and stable, the Guru gives you knowledge of Pure Self.

The Lion living with a group of goats believe himself a goat will be identified as Lion by himself. The dust of sanskara on Chitta to be removed by Karma Yoga, the vibration of Chitta to be stabilized by Bhakti and the swaroop darshan of Pure Self by Gyan from Guru.

The realisation of words you read many times in Shashtras. The saying in Shashtras are words only before realisation, but after realisation, they become truth.

Therefore make a move. Start from anywhere, from the beginning or jump straight from the top. But it is advisable to run the plane on run way for a while before taking off the flight. It is good for stable ride and avoid accidents.

Target Goal

Target Goal

Swami Ramsukhdasji Maharaj and Geeta Press Gorakhpur are well known names in spiritual world of India. Many kathakars are using their literature.

After two weeks inservice training at LBSNAA Mussoorie, I was fortunate to meet Swamiji and had Satsang with him during my short stay in Rishikesh in 2002. He was around 96 years old. He told me some interesting things. He told me to target Goal directly and not to waste time in finding reasonings. He told that he has wasted 72 years of his life in interpreting Geeta, Upanishads, Niti Shashtras, etc but at the end realised that if he had believed in the beginning the great saying of Saints, he could have driven in the highway from the beginning. If everybody saying this is river Ganga, then instead of accepting it and having holy bath in it, why should one waste time in searching, why it is called Ganga?

There are two compartments: Jad (life less) and Chetan (live). Our physical body, three bodies (gross, subtle, causal), five coverings - panch kosha (annanay, pranmay, manomay, vigyanmay and anandmay), five gyanendriya (eye, ear, nose, tongue, skin), five karmendriya (mouth, feet, hands, anus, genitals), etc are part of the compartment called Jad, the prakriti. They are lifeless without Chaitanya. They are instruments and perform only they are getting life from the Chaitanya. So if you waste time in searching of these instruments' making, functioning, using, etc, you will waste time like me.

It is better to leave the Jad and dive straight into the Ocean of Chaitanya with only two teachings: sarvam khalu idam brahma(Ch.up.3.14.1) and mam ekam sharanam vraja (Gita, Ch18, Verse 66):. If you see the lights of God in all eyes in all creatures, if you see him in Sun, Moon, Rivers, Mountains, in the Universe then only act left for you to just surrender to him, mam ekam sharanam vraj.

It has worked like master key for me.

Would you like to try?

Sarvam Khalvidam Brahma (सर्वं खल्विदं ब्रह्म)

Mamekam Sharanam Vraja(मामेकं शरणं व्रज)

हरि ॐ !

Nose, the indicator of Life

Nose, the indicator of Life

Our skeleton is made from pieces of bones but joined with muscles. As we grow older the lubricants in the joints emptied, the bones decay and we start getting discomforts of life in walking, moving or resting. The body parts at which we never looked at carefully, now check them everyday. The edema in joints make our life poor and the sounds of joints make us unpleasant. But until life light is on we get going.

Let us look at the Nose.

If something puts our nose out of joint, it annoys us. Our prestige is linked with our Nose. Even the spouse is identified with touching the nose. Cutting one's nose physically or verbally is the most offensive insult of a man.

Nose, the pathway of life air (Pranvayu), is one of the important parts of our body.
When it comes to nose in action, it reminds us irritating sound, the unpleasant Naad of snoring of our near and dear ones. Take care because there is positive correlation found between loud snoring and risk of heart attack.

When I was teenage, a Babaji gave me some tips of Samudrashastra. If the Nose of an old man tilted to the left, the life line of that person is in danger and the departure may be nearby, within 6 months.

As we grow older and our bones decay, the joints of facials bones including nose septum get affected. Due to edema or malfunctioning of lungs or aorta, the septum deviate. Deviated Nasal Septum (DNS) is a mechanical fault and need attention. It has direct connection with cardio vascular and lungs diseases. It affects the inhalation and exhalation of life air (pranvayu) that is 21600 cycles in a day. If one of the lungs receives less oxygen in a process it weaken the cardiac and lungs functions in a long run. If your nasal septum is deviated, you are probably walking on the path of dangers.

Therefore, follow your nose. Keep the nose clean. Don't turn up nose. Don't look down at nose but lead by nose so that you win the life by Nose!!!

Please attend the problem of DNS on priority.

Surely, you have touched it and checked😄 Enjoy life.

Virtues of Nobel Wife

Virtues of Nobel Wife

"Beware of her fair hair, for she excels All women in the magic of her locks; And when she winds them round a young man's neck, She will not ever set him free again". -Johann Wolfgang von Goethe

A man has always expectations from his wife. Starting from Adam to present generation, he demands virtues from her because his social prestige and public presentation are attached with her nobel virtues. Therefore, all religions have preached nobel virtues of a wife.

A wife of noble character is her husband's crown, but a disgraceful wife is like decay in his bones. -Old Testament (Bible)

Which is the best treasure a man can hoard? It is a virtuous wife who pleases him whenever he looks towards her, and who guards herself when he is absent from her. - Prophet Muhammad

Hinduism, before foreign invasion till 7th century, recognized importance of women in the society. Vedic period gave due respect and opportunities to women. Social norms to control her freedom imposed after a threat to women from the outsiders, either invaders or evil mind people in the society. However, Hindu ceremonies and rituals from birth to death are incomplete without the presence of the wife.

Neetisar described 6 virtues of a nobel wife. "रूपेशु लक्ष्मी, कार्येशु मंत्री, कर्मेशु दासी, भोज्येशु माता, शयनेशु रम्भा, क्षमया धरित्री"
(Roopeshu Lakshmi, Karyeshu Mantri, Karmeshu Dasi, Bhojeshu Mata, Shayaneshu Rambha, Kshamaya Dharitri)

(beautiful, adviser, work as servant, feed like mother, please in bed like Apsara Rambha, and have patience like mother earth, All bundled in One!!!)

She may not have looks, or may not a Rambha in bed every night, but her virtues are more than Super Six. She changes her home, leaves parents, moves with husband, builds home, deliver children, does everything; cooking, cleaning, taking care of husband-children-in-laws, care relations. All she does for her husband, for her family to make it a sweet home, her small heaven on earth. How nicely she is performing her role of a daughter, sister, wife and a mother!

What are the virtues of Nobel Husband? Just to earn money and buy his desires? Husband's contribution is part of national GDP but wife's contribution is Satisfaction with Life. She is priceless.

यत्र नार्यस्तु पूज्यन्ते रमन्ते तत्र देवता।
(Yatra naryastu pujyante ramante tatra Devata -Manusmriti 3.56)
(Women are Honored where, Divinity Blossoms there)

Are we?

Domestic violence and acts of rapists shame us. We pride for our best culture but the dignity and respect to women of Vedic culture yet to come back in totality. With education and growth opportunities, more and more women are coming in public life. Invaders gone or submerged but the evil minded men are still a threat to them.

Fathers are realising that daughter is more precious than son to give happiness in current life. What to do with rituals after death?

She's smarter.
She's beautiful.
She's kind and nurturing.
She's vivacious.
She loves with all her heart.
She's willing to make compromises.
She feels like home.
She is strong but passionate.
She's feminine.
She's the world for man.
She's the crown of man.

Let us salute to wives and women on Happy women's week for their unsung contribution for the development of mankind.

What will you Plant?

What will you Plant?

There is a phrase in Gujarati, जेवु वावीए तेवु लणीए। Harvest what you plant.

Now you know that we are drops of consciousness (gyan swaroop) in the waves of Chaitanya/Brahman Ocean (Maha Prabhu/Mahadev).

Just imagine about a farm owner. It is his choice what to sow in his farm. As you know; Crop Selection, Land Preparation, Seed Selection, Seed Sowing, Irrigation, Crop Growth, Fertilizing, Harvesting, all matters for a better productivity and production of a crop.

If the farmer cultivates wheat, he will get wheat. If he cultivates Potato, he will get Potatoes. If he plants mango tree, he will get mangoes. If he plants rose, his farm will be beautify with roses. If he plants thornes, he will get thornes.

Similarly, we are the farmers of our Chaitanya farms, it is individual choice to cultivate virtues or vices. If we plant ill feelings for someone, we are spoiling our farm. That season/moment is lost in jealousy or hatred. Remember, it is Chaitanya Farm of GOD field, therefore the results are avashyam bhavi (inevitable). If planted negatives, fruits are negative. If planted positives, fruits are positive.

Our life is the mouth of a well in the Ocean. Like an ONGC well, go on fetching. ONGC well may get emptied but this well will never. It's a continuous manthan from the Chaitanya Samudra. Whatever we desire, good or bad, it comes out. Therefore be careful when the thought emerges. Our aim is nectar but if run after the worldly desires (mohini), may lose nectar and get poison.

Let us care for our Chaitanya Farm, small but beautiful, located within the Ocean on infinite possibilities. Each moment is important. Tick tick tick tick... dying.

All are dhani (wealthy) here. Varna, Caste, Creed, Religion, Post, Sex, Status or other barriers can't stop us from sowing our farm. It is our freedom to sow and harvest crops of our choice.

What will you plant? It is your farm and you are the owner. Will you care for Crop Selection, Land Preparation, Seed Selection, Seed Sowing, Irrigation, Crop Growth, Fertilizing, Harvesting?

Hurry up, nobody knows when the life light goes off; and nobody knows, when we return.

Therefore, Plant what you wish to Harvest.

Shah Colours in Holi

Shah Colours in Holi

Prakash Shah (IAS Rtd) wrote once about Shahs in Gujarat, where no beggar is found.

Sanskrit Sadhu (gentle), Sahu in Prakrit (Navkar mantra), Sah (King) in Persia and Shah (banker) in Gujarat are symbols of wealth either spiritual, power or money.

Obviously those living with Laxmi (money), there is no chance of begging. Their networking is unique. If you inquire about a trader of some goods and services from a Shah friend, he will surely suggest 'Shah' only. They generate money and jobs for themselves. As a result whole community has maintained hold over money wealth. They don't eat onion, garlic but never say 'No' to money! After all, they understood the value of money as a medium, a standard and to store!

Let us become Shah and celebrate Holi with more colours today😄

Happy Holi

Happy Holi

Bura na mano, Holi hai.

Holi, the festival of colours is celebrated in India today and tomorrow. Today with bonfire in the evening and tomorrow by spraying colours over each other. Colours, music, dance, bhang and masti. A start of natural mating season for humans!

India links every important event with religion and with a message to educate people.

Hirnakashyap, the devil father of Bhakta Prahlad tried to kill him putting him in fire to death with her sister Holika who was immune to fire. Prahlad was saved and Holika died. The 4th Avatara of Vishnu incarnate out of a pillar in a form of Narsingh (half man half lion) to save his devotee Bhakta Prahlad and killed Hirnakashyap though he was protected by a Vardan from Lord Brahma. It is a story of confirmation of certainty of death even if someone is guarded with all types of safety like Hirnakashyap. God is everywhere is a message from Lord Narsingh's incarnation from a pillar. And the most important part is the safety assurance from the God to his devotee against the evil forces.

Krishna was dark blue in colour due to Putana's milk when he was a child. And Radha was fair skin. Holi Colours over faces make them equal, equal to love without any discrimination of colours of skin. Let us forget Varnas and celebrate festival with all.

Today is a festival to forget and forgive. Let us forget our pains and forgive all wrong doors to us and celebrate the festival of Holi praying Lord Narsinh through bonfire in the evening Today and celebrate with colours with family friends and Dear once Tomorrow.

Bura na mano Holi hai. Holi is a Holy Festival, a Carnival of India.

Happy Holi to All.

Who am I ?

Who am I ?

Entire Hinduism rotate around this question. Centuries have passed. Few found the answer and many are in search.

Those who found the answer tried to explain. But the listeners couldn't reach to the destination. A drop of water from the Ocean trying to understand the Ocean? Can it be? If it travels for millions of years, can it explain the Ocean in totality?

Many Hindus are familiar with four answers, the four Mahavakyas (The Great Sayings) of the Upanishads.

1. Pragyanam Brahma (Pragya is Brahman) -Aitareya Upanishad (Rig Veda)

2. Tat tvam asi (You are that) - Chandogya Upanishad (SamVeda)

3. Aham Brahmasmi (I am Brahman) - Brihadaranyak Upanishad (Yajur Veda)

4. Ayam Atma Brahma (I am the AtmaSelf that is Brahman) - Mandukya Upanishad (Atharva Veda)

Have you noticed the Knowledge Power you have? I don't mean information stored in your brain or wisdom acquired. I mean the base on which all stand. Didn't understand? Just check. Do you know English? You will say Yes. Do you know Slovenian? You will say No. How did you find both the answers? That is the base, the Tatva, I am referring to. It is common to all. It is the drop of the Ocean. You can fetch as much as knowledge from that drop, the base. It is infinite and eternal.

If you explain the taste of jaggery with thousands of narration to a person who hasn't tasted it. Can you make him realize the taste of jaggery with narration? He can't realize the taste of Jaggery without tasting it. Similarly, the meaning of the above sentences (the Great Sayings) can't be realized until you enter into the Brahman Ocean. (In fact you are in it)

But how could the Drop of water understand the entire Ocean? Looking to the size of both, it looks impossible. But looking at the character, the Tatva, it is easy. The Drop of water is part of the Ocean. In fact the Drop itself carrying all the characteristics of the Ocean. A piece of Sugar is Sugar itself in a mountain of Sugar.

Therefore the search is not outside but within. The Kasturi Mriga (musk deer) has to find out the odour from its own body. It is like digging a well inside.

Are you curious on getting the answer of the question Who am I?

If yes start digging and go on digging till the Water is seen. Shanai shanai (slowly slowly) you will reach to the destination. Then you will not ask the question, what is the taste of Jaggery? You are the Jaggery..... Oh... no..You are the Self, the Brahman, the Ocean.

Chidanand Rupo Shivoham Shivoham.

Food God, essential to maintain peace and harmony

Food God, essential to maintain peace and harmony

"Aham Vaishvanaro Bhutva pranimam deham asritah; Pranapana-samayuktah pacamy annam catur-vidham: — Ref: Bhagwad Gita chapter 15, verse14.
(Gross and subtle Manifestations are Me,
I reside in all beings, The Life that sustains; The breath the enlivens, Walks in and out effortlessly, continuously, Is Me; Every form is Me, The Fire that digests, Food that sustains,
The sustainer and the sustained, Just Me.)

Bharat is a great country. The inclusiveness is the core of its culture; think and care for other creatures. Even in the modern age of electronics, a lady cooking food for her family, keeps first roti for a cow and the last for a dog. Cow nourishes and dog protects. While eating a circumference line of water around dish essential to stop insects to entre. But simultaneously a small grass to keep out to keep them satisfied.

Wild and vibrant animals and birds calm down with offering of food of their likings. Human are pleased the most with good and tasty food. All celebrations, festivals, events are incomplete and without good food. Senior babus visits on inspections will become worst for subordinates if care of his stomach missed! Gifts and bribes are extention of food desires!!!

Our physical body is what? A sum of cells made from cereals, vegetables, fruits, milk and meat. The electricity that keep us alive, gets recharged with food.

Our mind generate thoughts if getting food in form of oxygen, iron and glucose. Therefore, thought is considered the most micro form of food. "Jaisa ann, vaisa mann" is famous saying.

Gandhi wrote that he had dream of killing his mother whom he loved the most, while in jail. Later checked that the food he ate that evening was cooked by a murderer. Swami Ram Krishna Paramhans though thirsty didn't drink water from a servant's hand at Keshav Chandra's house.

But Buddha took his first food after self realisation from the hands of a dalit lady. He ate all wild mushrooms to save his host tribal from a charge of his death and gave him equal status with his mother out of love to mankind. Jesus when asked about eating non veg and drinking wine replied, "think more what going in your brain than in stomach".

Food is an important substance for all of us. Whatever or who so ever come in contact with us have great impact over us. It can change our thoughts or teaches lessons of life.

Hindus worship many Gods and Goddesses. Food Devata is one of them. A pure Hindu will not forget offering it to Almighty through the Fire, the Ambassador of God. The food become "Prasad" thereafter. It may look ritual but important to nourish non violence in our nature.

Let all human beings eat prasad of God, respect each other, come out of thoughts of encroachment tendencies over thoughts and territories of others and allow all of us to live in peace and harmony.

Present world is in need more of Love and Respect to keep us free from terrorism and war.

Amen.

Are IT companies making us ullu?

Suddenly my attention went to idea ad of ullu banawing.

e-Governance, M-Governance, Digital City-District-State are popular words in present world. Why not? It has saved papers, time and cost. It has made the administration more transparent and faster.

Literacy has moved up from reading-writing skill to e-literacy. But many Babus in Government are still IT illiterate. Many fears touching Computer key board!

When IT revolution started knocking doors of Government, the union was built. Union of profit v/s services. Some proactive governments started developing and using IT applications with the help IT companies. Manual work was replaced by Computer hardwares and softwares. IT electricity proved its superiority over babus red tapism.

But IT companies were smart. They knew how to mingle babus in .net and java jargons. Their team sits with IT illiterate babus and prepare applications asking their procedure. The applications prepared are delivered keeping source codes and passwords in the custody of IT company. The products are sold but not the keys. IT company knows that once the contract is on, it is a monopoly business. While operating, incomplete applications demand changes. And any change in formats, lines, path, will cost high. The hands are so tied that many a time, change of vender may neither be possible nor feasible. It is IT lock. Difficult to break or open.

The Companies knew that public administration and its procedure are mostly the same in the country. Therefore, something developed for one state can be rolled out in other states with few changes. Easy to do...010101...But product will earn full price in an autonomous federal structure. One state, 2 states...their businesses multiplying. The Federal Government also started developing uniform applications on state services but the hooks are not setting fully due to language, old applications and administrative culture. And the IT companies are happy looking at infinite IT business a head. Do you remember the Story of "Monkey and Two Cats"?

Singapore, Estonia are small and tiny countries in front of us but ranking very high in World e-Governance list. The IT transactions they do in a year must have been done us in one day. But parameters and performance keep us below. What they did for 20 million, we to do for 1.22 billion. They walk one step, we to walk 60. They all walk together with common platform, we to walk with multi platforms. Their applications are smooth and simple and we make them complex to remove our maximum possible doubts!

And IT companies. . Idea ad...ullu banawing..?

Just for fun only.

Do I love my India

Do I love my India

What makes us different than the world of white people? Sun rays? Resources? Infrastructure?

No no no...we lack cleanliness. Millions of us defecate in open, pissing here and there, spitting all around and through waste everywhere.

We are the most liberal democrats of the world doing all these without fear, favour and shame. We are uncomfortable with toilets and dustbins. We love "upar gagan vishal"! We are the nature lover, like to be with nature, doing all acts in open, visible to God and to everyone. Nothing to hide! Look at the movie India from the sky, 1.22 billions making India, the country of dirts.

The BMC Commissioner was literally breathless managing solid and liquid wastes of bumbaiya population. Till he meets with the capacity required, new force of marathi, tamils, andhraits, kannad, enter the city and revert his calculations. Same is the case with other cities. And villages are no man's land. Do it everywhere. It will be preserve for months till monsoon comes and drain it away.

If the sweepers in India go on strike for a week, you can see the hell on earth without dying.

We can blame God for making us brown, can blame our system keeping us poor, but can't blame anyone for our habits of defecating, pissing and spitting in open everywhere.

Cleanliness is missing in our genes. Asian paint coloured house, TV, bike, fridge, mobile, gutka, liquor, social expenditure, rituals, festivals, etc, may find space in our budget. But toilets, dustbins, streetbins, drainage etc are out of our reach. And if local bodies or individuals make them available for us, we consider it as a serious attack over our birth right of free falling. We ensure that all waste drop out of bins, defecate in open using toilets as store, and keeping the trees happy with showers of uria and uric acids 24×7!

O God...save us from this indiscipline, curb our freedom and make our mother land the heaven on earth.

Amin.

Indiscipline India, arise, awake, walk for the pride of India

Indiscipline India, arise, awake, walk for the pride of India

One Jijabai gave us the greatest warrior of India, Shivaji Chhatrapati. And Hiraben gave us Shri Narendra Modi, the PM of India.

India is a country of 'Youngs'. Average age of the country population comes around 35 Y. Developed world is busy in management of olds and promotion of pregnancy.

But when you take a walk around the country in the morning hours millions of youth don't wake up till 8 or 9 am. They are deprived from O3, dawn chorus of birds, twilight colours and morning beauty of mother earth. The youth not ready to leave cot in morning hours of energy, how do they walk on the path of hard work and patriotism? Brahmmuhurta for many a sex muhurta.

Our PM rightly said, if the youth doesn't get perspiration 3-4 times in a day, how could they digest food and become strong? TV programmes made our children and youth docile and our women quarrelsome. "Swatantrata has been replaced with Swachhandata".

Governments are spending huge budgets on free or economical education but the brains drain. Hundreds of PHCs in India are without Doctors and private practitioners are multiplying. Children of doctor houses become business doctors coming through payment seats. Indians are spending one the highest out of pocket money in the world for health services.

One of the major reasons of Russian strong breed is their Mothers. Mother (matar) in Russia is the most respected person. (Russian language has many Samskrit words and their grammer is the same like Samskrit).

Have you seen the colourful dolls of Russia? It is called Matrusksya. Males died in thousands in wars. Mothers saved their race and culture. Their genes are so strong that the children of Russian women are Russian in colour and look even if they marry Indians or Africans! Mother is the greatest teacher. On weekends, you see mothers in museums teaching lessons of history and bravery to their children. After 12th, it is compulsory for all the youth to stay and work with Army at borders for 2 years. There after they complete their graduation. As a result all of them are seen one when it comes to national pride.

People work till they die in developed countries.

But here in India, many schools find it difficult to get students in NCC. Happiness in India means laziness. The best job/work means earning without working. 60+ become senior citizens, sitting and advising. Bicycles have been replaced with bikes. Rural youth are migrating to cities and increasing slums. Villages are becoming old age homes. On one side shortage of farm work labourers increasing and other side educated youth feel shame to do physical labour. Educated youth means non metric, metric, and BAs in millions. Unskilled and un-enterprising.

Need for a "Tiger Leap", a big change to "Make India" following path of Swami Vivekananda, "Arise, awake and stop not till the goal is reached".

Need for a change in Archeology Approach in India

Need for a change in Archeology Approach in India

Since childhood, I see all historical buildings and monuments with curiosity and feel the greatness of our country through the work of sculptors, artisans and rulers. I hate the brutal acts of destructions of these great buildings by the invaders.

Recently, I have an opportunity to visit Peterhof (palace) in St Petersburg. The building was badly damaged by the Germans in WW-II. But Russia made it new in the original shape. Chathedral of Christ the Saviour destroyed by Joseph Stalin to take away its 2 MT gold in the name of making a new monument of Russian Pride. He couldn't make it but Russia made the Chathedral in its original form with people's contribution in a decade time after fall of USSR in 1991.

Most of the countries are putting their buildings in original position, though they were damaged or distroyed by the invaders.

Our normal buildings are get repaired and maintained regularly.

But when it comes to buildings of ancient or medieval time, archeology norms have blocked the buildings in their last condition. Most of such buildings were destroyed or damaged by the invaders. New generation will love to see Nalanda, Khajuraho, Konark and Modhera Sun Temples, etc in their original form. If temple like Shiv Temple, Bhojpur (MP), left incomplete by King Bhoj, why can't the present generation complete it?

If we re-build Somnath Temple, can't we make our heritage buildings in their original form again? There is a need to relook archeological norms.

If they are remake in original styles and designs, we the people of India will love to fund to remake them in remembrance of our greater past. Generations to come will be inspired through these monuments.
