Blessed Resurrection SUNDAY
Judas Iscariot betrayed in exchange of thirty pieces of silver and Pontius Pilate sentenced him to death, innocent he was crucified at 3 pm on Friday with two robbers one on his right and one on his left. His last words spoken from the cross, Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do”. It was one of the saddest days for humanity. His men ran away but women remained with him in his last journey.
On the third day, Easter Sunday, Jesus won over the death, died he rose again, resurrected, entered to the city and appeared before many and ascension to Heaven. Majority believe that he was in material body and a small minority believe that he was in spiritual body.
Revelation 1:18
”I am the Living One;
I was dead, and now look,
I am alive for ever and ever!
And I hold the keys of death and Hades.”
He is ALIVE!
His sacrifice and resurrection created a hope for life after death.
Christianity and Islam believe in single resurrection of the dead at the end of the world answerable for their deeds before the Almighty on the Day of Judgement or the Day of Quiamah (Kayamat). In Hinduism, the Spirit is immortal, go on taking rebirths (changing clothes) as per its deeds and desires till it liberates after knowledge, self (immortal) realisation. In Buddhism meditation, one can separate the material body and spiritual body and can move out and come back till the physical body exists with the connectivity.
If we are carrying some pain deep in the heart for somebody’s wrongdoing, remember Jesus and forgive them for they know not what they deed. Donate the past and live in the present.
Blessed Resurrection SUNDAY.
