Where does the Knowledge come from?

Where does the Knowledge come from?

"If I were to look over the whole world to find out the country most richly endowed with all the wealth, power, and beauty that nature can bestow – in some parts a very paradise on earth – I should point to India. If I were asked under what sky the human mind has most full developed some of its choicest gifts, has most deeply pondered on the greatest problems of life, and has found solutions of some of them which well deserve the attention even of those who have studied Plato and Kant – I should point to India. And if I were to ask myself from what literature we, here in Europe, we who have been nurtured almost exclusively on the thoughts of Greeks and Romans, and of one Semitic race, the Jewish, may draw that corrective which is most wanted in order to make our inner life more perfect, more comprehensive, more universal, in fact more truly human, a life, not for this life only, but a transfigured and eternal life – again I should point to India." - Max Muller (German born Philologist), (1883)

All humans are same with body structure but they are different in intelligence. Even children of the same parents have different abilities. Those who study selected branch acquire knowledge of that branch and others not. Where does the knowledge come from?

In science 'Discovery' is known as the act of detecting something that already preexists over a long period of time and 'Invention' is creating new object, ideas or theories using preexisting objects, ideas and theories.

Prophet Muhammad heard it from the Almighty Allah. Jesus received direction from the Father (God) as Son. Buddha and Mahavir fetched the answers through meditation. What was the source?

Hindu Sanatan philosophy describe the knowledge differently. Shabad (divine sound/anahat naad) is considered the manifest of the Brahman. It generates from the space and all the creation is nothing but an expansion of the Shabad.

There are two types of knowledge; Apaurushaiya (revelation/work of Deity) and Paurushaiya (work of human author). The knowledge preexisting and floating in the Nature as cosmic sound of truth heard by ancient Rishis has been revealed through meditation is called Sruti/hearing/Apaurushaiya. They have divine origin and presented in form of Vedic hymns and Upanishads. And the memories of wisdom, the collection of traditions that saves passed on their disciples are called Smriti (remembered texts/Paurushaiya. They are presented through Vedangs, Brahmanas, Puranas.

Whatever knowledge and educational branches we have, the knowledge are preexisting and floating in the Nature. Those who connects are able to receive it. The quality of knowledge varies with the quality of the receptor. For better reception peace and soundness of mind, and purity of heart are necessary. And that can be achieved through human efforts as well as by Grace of Guru and God.

Any human can connect with the divine knowledge bank like ancient Rishis, Buddha, Mahavir, Jesus and Prophet Muhammad, provided his/her receptor is ready and there is Grace of God.

All knowledge are preexisting and floating in the Nature. Human mind just connect and reveal them.

Do you wish to connect with the Divine Knowledge Bank?

You are already connected. Just to adjust your dish (receiver) to receive the signals like how TV dish are set to receive broadcast from the Satellite! "Set Top Box" with "the heart" (not heart pump but the Bhava). Anusandhan with Prayer. And the divine knowledge is just transmitted. Akashvani (sky voice). Hear the Inner Voice. No books required.

And the starting point is, as directed by Ved Vyas in the First Sutra (aphoristic doctrinal) of Brahm Sutra,  "Athato Brahm Jigyasa" (curiosity about Brahman). Inquire about Brahman. Who you are and who is the Supreme Controller?

Shubham Bhavatu.
